In this #GreenFuture episode, Greens from Wales and Northern Ireland came together for a Celtic Greens event, to discuss how the more proportional electoral system for both the Senedd and Northern Irish Assembly gives the Green Party a great opportunity to win seats and create real change.
Chaired by the leader of Lewes Council Green Group Zoe Nicolson; Anthony Slaughter and Amelia Womack presented their vision for a greener, fairer Wales, and the exciting possibility of the first Greens being elected to Welsh Parliament this May. Clare Bailey – Leader of the Green Party of Northern Ireland and Member of the Legislative Assembly for South Belfast – described the change she has been able to create since being elected and the power of even a few Green voices in government.
