Our Green MP, Caroline Lucas, co-hosted this special session of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Green New Deal alongside Labour MP, Clive Lewis.
The discussion explored how the remit of the UK infrastructure bank could advance, and not undermine a just transition, and what wider changes are needed in both the criteria for, and structure of, green finance if we are to transform life in the UK so that it is greener and fairer.
The event received contributions from:
- Ambroise Fayolle, vice-president of the European Investment Bank
- Marianna Mazacutto, Professor in the Economics of Innovation and Public Value at University College London (UCL), Founding Director of the UCL Institute for Innovation & Public Purpose (IIPP) and Advisor to the Scottish government on the Scottish Investment Bank.
